Hello friends, I have recently
released my debut novel ‘The Cry of Freedom’. When I started writing poems,
short stories and blogs, I had no idea of how it could change my course of
life. Well, every writer has their own elegance of writing. Some of them like
to write about mythological epics, campus romance, thriller, murder mystery,
sci-fi and so on. But mine is simple – I write on basic issues and key constraints
of the society. As some of you are associated with my blog. ‘The Indian
Railways & Bullet Train’ and ‘The Myth of River Ganges’ is the highest
rated article (blog) of my career.
As we know that 15th
august 1947 we got the reward of freedom from the British Crown and the story
of the novel talks about the era of 1960s. After eighteen years of independence,
India is not able to stand on its feet. The GDP of the country is below the
mark. Uneven distributions of income, poverty, poor infrastructure, strict
caste systems, feudalism, and orthodox rituals are the key constraints of the
society.
Agriculture was the prime source of
income. Every member of the family was bound to work in the fields. There was a
rain feed agriculture system in the country so, most of farmers has to depend
upon the monsoon. In many cases there was no access of canal water irrigation
system.
The male member or the head of the
family was the sole winner of bread & butter for the entire family and women
were not allowed to work outside. The working of women was taboo in the
society. Similarly, in western part of the globe, the lifestyle of the
population was far opposite in the comparison of Indian sub-continent.
The main protagonist of the story
is the son of a poor farmer. The valuable teaching of his parents makes him
more mature and he is the man of his attitude. He represents the face of
victimized poor farmers of the country and one day he contests an election and
brings the various reforms in the society. Especially, he fights with poverty, injustice,
cruel feudalism and he deals with all the burning issues of the society.
‘The Cry of freedom’ is a complete
blend of drama, emotions, suspense, courage, parenthood, action, and revenge. I
can assure my all the readers while reading they can experience many twits and
page turning suspense. I firmly believe that it will connect with everyone irrespective
of their age & gender.
I would like to thank those who
have already ordered the book and also those who are planning to get it and
read it soon. I look forward to your feedback.
Load of love
