The simple definition of the
environment is the constituent of living or nonliving things which surrounds
us. It consists of all the living things, nonliving things, air, and water and
so on. Every day and every moment of our life we are consuming or we are
deriving something from the environment. For example; we breathe fresh air, we
synthesize vitamin D from the sunlight and many more. But we never care or even
think about our environment. So, friends today I want to ask you; what is your
contribution to the environment?
In the planet earth human race is
considered as the most selfish species. It has vanished large green forests and
produces green gaseous for the sake of his personal interest. The race never
cares about the consequences of such happenings. In the era of modern human
civilization global warming and terrorism is the burning issue in the
progression of the civilization. But there are some countries, organizations, group,
and individuals who think and act according to the plan of action in order to
minimize the production of greenhouse gaseous.
Friends, I am telling you one
individual person can bring a change. By doing little things, yes can
contribute to the environment. In order to throw some light into this matter I
am sharing you my small efforts to the environment.
Never waste your food. Always take
food what you like to eat.
Always dispose your waste in proper
distinct dustbins which is ideally designed for perishable and non-perishable
wastes.
Never consume too much of power.
For example; at the same time we unnecessarily switched on many lights &
home appliances. Sometimes we forget to switch off the TV set while sleeping.
For short distances always prefer
to walk or use bicycle.
By carpooling we can minimize the
production of greenhouse gaseous.
If possible always plant a sapling
in your surroundings or open area. (Note: in case of private property please
seek the kind approval.)
So friends’ still we can bring some
changes to our environment and I urge you please start your contribution to the
environment.
