Since the pre-historic times, discoveries & inventions played vital role in the evolution of human civilization. There are numbers of inventions but in my opinion following are the few important inventions in the history of the humankind which changed the entire journey human race.

Discovery of fire: the discovery of fire was one of the greatest inventions of all time. It became the game changer for the entire civilization. It provided heat, light, and security to them. It provided them opportunity to cook their food stuffs and more interestingly, they learnt the art of roasting meat or food over the open fire.

Discovery of metals: with the invention of metal human race developed the various kinds of tools and weapons. The discovery leaded them to learn the cultivation by ploughing the fields. Thus, they became the permanent habitants of a particular place. In history there are several accounts of permanent settlement. The strong metal helped them to protect themselves from wild animals and enemies. Many popular civilizations & cultures flourished near the banks of rivers in order to practice agriculture. For example, Indus Valley Civilization at the bank of river Indus, the great city London developed at the bank of river Thames, Egypt developed at the river Nile.

Discovery of wheel: the invention of wheel was the most vibrant inventions of all time. By the means of wheel, the transportation became very easy. It leveraged the economy and propelled the growth of business and transportation. Before the discovery of wheel, only animals were used as medium of transportations or mode of transportations.  But the discovery of wheel leaded them to travel far distance with minimal time. It helped them to market their farm output to the far boundaries.
