In recent days the word entrepreneur is widely used. It is mainly used to depict business person. But the word entrepreneur has very wide meaning. According to Oxford Dictionary entrepreneur refers to 'a person who makes money by starting or running businesses, especially when this involves taking financial risks'.
During 16th Century BCE originally the word entrepreneur was used to denote a general in French Army. Those generals were known for risk bearing expeditions. Simply we can assume that entrepreneurs were associated with risk taking capacities.
Talking about modern scenario entrepreneurs are business persons who takes many risk in business almost all the avenues of the business. They are highly suited with innovation and doing new things for the business and at the same time for the benefit for the mankind or society.
