Anup Gupta is an entrepreneur by profession and his pen name is Anup R. Gupta. The letter R represents the initial letter of his father Rabindra Kumar Gupta and his beautiful wife Rajni Pd. Gupta. He is an active social worker as well as a creative thinker.

He was born in small village of Ballia Uttar Pradesh. Since many generations his family is residing in Darjeeling and thus he brought up in Queen of Hills Darjeeling. In 2009 he earned a graduation degree in commerce from St. Joseph’s College Darjeeling.

He also holds a master degree (MBA) in finance from SMIT campus of Sikkim Manipal University, East Sikkim India. He is an emerging author and he has penned many short stories and poems. Now, he is ready with his upcoming novel “The Cry of Freedom”.
