Methods of Worship
Human
race is considered as the most supreme race in the planet. But we don’t know
who created us. There are many theories and proposals which reflects light upon
our civilization. Since, the era of human civilization, human beings established
faith upon Mother Nature. Subsequently, in those days people began worshiping
nature, earth, sun, moon and so on. Thus gradually the concept of God came into
force.
Tantra: in this approach, a devote worships Gods with the
employment or involvement of his physical body. Actually the word Tan refers to
a physical body. For example keeping fasting in a specific day or during the
time of festivals. Walking bare foot to the temple or pilgrimage, doing dhyanm
and so on.
Mantra: the word mantra means religious hymens, prayers or sacred
words which we recite or chant in order to please God. For example reciting of
Human Chalisa, Maha mritunjay mantra, Gayatri mantra and so on.
Yantra: the word Yantra refers to a tool or medium by which we
please Gods. For example the wide practice of Hawan Kunda, worship of Shiva
Lingam. By the means of Yajna or hawan we offer prayer to the celestial bodies
or God.
